Junya Watanabe “Kobuke” 02’ striped long sleeve
From fall winter 2002 is a Junya Watanabe CDG long sleeve black and white striped shirt from the “Kobuke” graphic collection. Kentaro Kobuke started making a name for himself in the late 90’s grasping the attention of Junya and the label by early 2000’s, he works primarily with colored pencil and paint, his portraiture incorporating psychedelic patterns and geometric abstraction of bodily forms. In 2002, Kentaro produced this collaboration with Comme Des Garcons and Junya Watanabe showcasing some of the same figures and faces you see in his early work by doing different individual prints of them for the various different garments used. They were mostly all tagged with no specific size so fits unisex. A true men’s medium-small or women’s medium-large. Good overall condition no holes or stains
