Junya Watanabe Comme des garçons AW03’ velvet anarchy script t-shirt
From early Junya Watanabe, is a 2003 Anarchist shirt using one of his “A” graphics from the 03-04’ collection series. These collections featured screen prints and dimensional velvet prints such as this one, taking inspiration from the anarchy A artwork of Simone Periton, an incredible British artist who collaborated with Junya as well as the likes of RAF Simons, and many others. Really unique as some of the pieces had their design going off the edge of the garment or overlapping the collar as it does here, giving it a “stamp” look. This shirts tagged a large and fits true, in good overall condition, slight rubbing off of the velvet print over time but not very noticeable.
