From Raf Simons spring summer archive collection is a special t-shirt with the full print ‘independence’ graphic; seen originally on the oversized crewneck. The season titled ‘Woe onto those who spit on the fear generation…the wind will blow it back’ , otherwise known as Rafs terrorism period was to embody many of the strong felt feelings of society and the youth after Al Qaeda had made their attacks in 2001. Simons who had just got back in the game after his riot collection, wanted to respond to such violence with pieces representing the courage and feelings that had to meet such times.
Now years later, the season proves to be one of his most collected namesakes. The shirt comes in white, other variation released in black. slightly worn, it has a small mark on the back but no noticeable holes or stains.
